មន្ត្រីនៃរដ្ឋលេខាធិការដ្ឋានកិច្ចការព្រំដែន បានបញ្ជាក់ថា តំបន់អានសេះ គឺស្ថិតក្នុងទឹកដីកម្ពុជាទាំងស្រុង បើយោងតាមផែនទីមាត្រដ្ឋាន ១/២០០ ០០០ និងកំណត់ហេតុ (PV) បោះបង្គោលរបស់គណៈកម្មការឥណ្ឌូចិន-សៀម ឆ្នាំ១៩០៨ និង ១៩១៩។ បើសូម្បីតែផែនទី L7017 មាត្រដ្ឋាន ១/៥០ ០០០ ដែលថៃគូសដោយឯកតោភាគី ក៏តំបន់អានសេះនេះ ស្ថិតនៅក្នុងទឹកដីខ្មែរដែរ។

An official from the State Secretariat of Border Affairs stated that the An Ses area is entirely located within Cambodian territory, according to the 1:200,000 scale map and the demarcation protocols (PV) of the Indochina-Siam Delimitation Commission of 1908 and 1919. Even under the L7017 series 1:50,000 scale map, which was unilaterally drawn by Thailand, the An Ses area still clearly falls inside Cambodian territory.
