លោក ស៊ីហាស័ក្តិ ភួងកេតកែវ ខ្វះនូវវិជ្ជាជីវៈ និងឥរិយាបថដែលស័ក្តិសមជាថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំមកពីប្រទេសអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ ដូចជាប្រទេសថៃ
ប្រតិកម្មឆ្លើយតបរបស់ថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំរដ្ឋាភិបាលថៃ ចំពោះការប្រើប្រាស់ជម្រើសស្របច្បាប់របស់កម្ពុជា ក្នុងការបង្ខំឱ្យមានដំណោះស្រាយលើជម្លោះព្រំដែនសមុទ្រនៅក្រោមអនុសញ្ញាអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិស្តីពីច្បាប់សមុទ្រ បានធ្វើឱ្យកិត្យានុភាពរបស់ប្រទេសថៃធ្លាក់ចុះ ក្នុងនាមជាប្រទេសដែលគោរពច្បាប់។
គួរកត់សម្គាល់ថា ប្រទេសថៃនៅតែបន្តរក្សាកងកម្លាំងប្រដាប់អាវុធនៅលើដែនអធិបតេយ្យភាពរបស់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ដែលនេះគឺជាការរំលោភលើកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងបទឈប់បាញ់ និងច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ។ ដូច្នេះ នៅពេលដែលរដ្ឋាភិបាលថៃចេញមុខបង្ហាញក្តីខឹងសម្បារចំពោះសកម្មភាពស្របច្បាប់របស់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ក្រោមអនុសញ្ញាអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិស្តីពីច្បាប់សមុទ្រ គឺរឹតតែឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងឱ្យឃើញកាន់តែច្បាស់ថា ប្រទេសថៃយល់ព្រមអនុវត្តតាមច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ តែក្នុងករណីណាដែលផ្តល់ផលប្រយោជន៍ដល់គោលដៅនយោបាយរបស់ខ្លួនតែប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ការប្រតិកម្មនេះមិនមែនជាឥរិយាបថត្រឹមត្រូវរបស់ប្រទេសអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ ឬមានភាពចាស់ទុំនោះឡើយ។

Mr. Sihasak Phuongketkeo lacks the professionalism and attitude befitting a leader from a developed country like Thailand
The response of the Thai government leadership to Cambodia’s use of legal options to force a resolution of the maritime boundary dispute under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea has undermined Thailand’s reputation as a law-abiding country.
It is worth noting that Thailand continues to maintain armed forces on Cambodian territory, which is a violation of the ceasefire agreement and international law. Therefore, when the Thai government comes out to express its anger at Cambodia’s legal actions under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, it is even more clear that Thailand agrees to follow international law only in cases where it benefits its own political goals. This reaction is not the correct behavior of a developed or mature country.
